Author, Sulaiman an-Nadawi, is one of teacher of Moslem. He has reliable and high quality comprehension of Al-Quran, hadits, fiqih, history, philosophy, and literature about islam.
This book -as one of his best book- explains the history of ‘Aisyah ra: her life, marriage, education, attitude, till her life after Rasulullah has passed away. The Author also describes ‘Aisyah’s role as the wife of messenger asa we can find in some important event such described in the descent of Tayamum command. Beside it, the excellence of ‘Aisyah ra: attitude, knowledge, and her pisition among other women is described clearly.
An-Nadawi not only telling, but also show the evidence of event and analyze many hadits as its bases. This book is result of his comprehensive study of historical and scientific analizing. For giving the reader chance to explore more about the history or hadits, author put a list of refferences at the end of book. Unfortunately, there’s no glossarium so perhaps some reader find some difficult words or terms writen in Arabic. Nevertheless, his writing ought to be a model for another whom classification is Islamic history writing.
Finally, this book is highly recommended for one who want to learn more about woman-in-islam.
